TOB (That Other Band) has been a regular at SW Oregon venues The Rosebud Theatre, Roseburg OR, Umpqua Valley Arts Festival, Melrose Vineyards and other local entertainment staples, engaging audiences since 2004. This outstanding FUNK, R&B, POP & Soul band regularly performs at numerous wineries, breweries, restaurants, and night clubs throughout the Umpqua Valley as well as seasonal outdoor concerts and festivals around the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, this dance party, show band regularly performs at a range of private and corporate events.

 

TOB (That Other Band) has a genuine passion for the music they play and the people they play it for. The audience is regularly a part of the show at TOB events. The band's music and grooves are infectious and the band's vibe is captivating. Sitting still is not an option at a TOB show.

 

The members of TOB represent various histories and combinations of musical partnerships and projects that predate this project by decades. Most notable, the Haggans' "Family Band" history dates back to their teens. Mick hooked up with Reggie and Jesse around 2005 and have enjoyed years of playing with a broad range of notable regional players including family and life long friends. In the fall of 2019 TOB added veteran Hammond Organ and Keyboard wizard Michael Mendenhall of Roseburg, OR. Nathaniel Keller on sax joined the band in 2024. Nathaniel studies music full-time at Berkeley School of Music, and appears with us when he is on school breaks. After a thirteen year absence from our part of the country, David Bittner joined TOB on drums this past summer (2025). David and Mick played together for a couple decades in Blues and R&B bands such as SBR & the Hornheads, and various projects with Reggie, Jeff Chastain and the late great Gary Beck. With GT Albright needing to focus his talents on projects closer to his home in the Eugene area, David accepted the offer to join forces again. Most recently, Michael Stinnett, also on sax, joined in July of this year. Mike is a monster player with a rich professional touring history. A fun line-up of veteran musicians that deliver dynamic music to any venue!


The energy TOB puts out is authentic, enthusiastic, and entertaining. TOB will get you in touch with your funky self, and keep you engaged and entertained.
